Ordered my MCS last week after a long stint without a MINI. Previously had an 04 Cooper which was my most missed car. When moving out of London where I didn't have a car, naturally I went straight for a brand new MCS!

I've gone for Thunder Grey with lots of toys (configurator pic attached).

MINI have quoted 6-8 weeks delivery. How long did other peoples take? I'm very impatient!

Mike.

Most orders in the UK seem to be fulfilled in 4-5 weeks. My best friend got a Thunder Grey at the end of May. It is such a classic look, Congrats!

Looks awesome.

"6-8 Weeks" is what the say initially so nobody is disappointed, when they put the order in to MINI this "usually" (caveat caveat caveat) gets revised downwards when they supply a delivery date (takes a couple of days to get this info out of SAP I imagine  )

Good luck with the wait.. get reading ;)

Nice Build...I think you'll like the Punch Leather Sport Seats (with lumbar adjustment)....I almost went with those on my JCW. Everything looks great!

Pics are required when it arrives! :)

Looks superb get on the factory tour you can take the chassis number and you might see it built. Makes the anticipation worse though! Had mine a year. Waited nearly 4 months .

Very tempted to do the factory tour, I'm only an hour away from Oxford so I definitely should! I only ordered on 31/07.. Would the dealership know a built time yet?? Be good to try and coincide the tour with my MINI's build time (on the off chance I catch a glimpse!)

Got this from the dealer yesterday.. Not sure if this is common knowledge about the factory but could be interesting for people.

"The car is still due late September with no set date. Its going to be the 3rd or 4th week of the month that is all I can see for now I?m afraid. There is a factory shut down through this part of August and the order bank for September is set for a month of flat out production. With the new plate coming there is now no more production available!"
