Yea - went into my local dealership to test drive a Paceman and this Cooper S had just been released for sale. Didn't take long to make my decision. Previous car was a JCW - black with red roof and caps. Sorry to see that one go but certainly loving this one !!

Quite spooky really. I didn't go to the launch but my friends did. They sent me a photo of the car and a few weeks later I actually ended up buying it !!

I can imagine you've paid over-the-odds for an ex demo. I've seen lesser spec Orange MCSs on Autotrader already for ~£27K, mine was £23.5K

Always a fine balance - do you wait for months for new - while all the time your current car is depreciating or strike while the irons hot !! No regrets so far

BTW - only 1 month old and less than 2k on the clock - got a £3 k saving on new and a decent PX

did they throw in the epileptic lights and dancing queen as sweeteners? Good show, really one of the better colours, will be leaning towards it initially. Would like to see one in the metal however, our local has none in the fun shades...

I believe they call it the Marmite colour (love it or hate it) - had loads of positive comments - in fact even had random people coming over to tell me how much they like it !!
