Hi all.

Placed an order before Xmas for a Cooper S Clubman to replace my Q5.

Last Mini I owned was back in 75 when I bought a 60's model mainly for the wife.

I hope that the Cooper S is as much fun to drive as my 69 Lotus Elan which I use all though the year - also hope that it requires less fettling than the Lotus!

Looking forward to March 1st delivery

What spec have you ordered? Sounds like you'll have a great replacement in terms of driving pleasure, just hope the cargo space is adequate enough to replace the Q5?

In answer to Brandon about the size difference I obviously researched this and the difference is not as much as you would expect with the rear seats down so we will be able to cope.

As for the spec we went for an Automatic in Melting Silver, Chilli and Media XL packs, Pan sunroof, Black Mini Yours lounge leather, Piano Black illuminated trim, Bonnet stripes, Roof rails, Darkened rear glass, Damper control plus a few other odds and ends.

I am sure we will be happy when it arrives - it cannot be worse than the Q5 which we have had endless trouble with!

Sounds good! That's what I'd hoped - you'd done the research cause just from seeing it in person I didn't think it'd compete but to be fair the Q5 isn't actually that big either! Exciting times, look forward to seeing some pictures when its here.
