Hi,

Car will not go paat 4.3k rpm, low power but no engine light, will drive tmfibe fir 30seconds them limit itself.

Turbo seems ok, actuator rebuilt fuel filer and egr replaced and still the same.

Any ideas, my scanner detects the map sensor as the turbo pressure sensor, is that correct, getting about 14psi at idle

Did you coded the egr valve?When you replace this part its need coding, and what empo say's your air mass meter and air filter.
I don't know what kind off air filter you use, but there are a lot of troubles after installing a k&n filter, there's oil on it, and that will put a layer of oil on your air mass meter

Hi

Its a cooper d 2015, f55. Cleaned maf and map sensors, maf is reading 0.2 and map is 14psi ish which seems to be the correct amount.

Car is stock, cleaned valves as where full of carbon, removed intake and cleaned that also and hoped that was the issue, nope. Ran some dpf cleaner twice and nothing, car has just been service by myself a few weeks ago, fuel, air and oil filter along with fresh oil.
strange, drove perfect on way home, next morning fine in first and second, shifted to thrid and limits to about 4.3k rpm. Turn off engine, ok for 15 seconds ish then happens again.

On the egr cooler is a vacume box that controls the flap inside the cooler, if i push it in and hold over the inlet it lets it out halfway and stays till i remove my finger, should that hold the whole way. When reving car i have seen it open fully just not by hand

Even after cleaning egr valve its possible that the valve stay's open while driving.
Another problem with diesel coopers are the injectors, they will be clogged to.
Also you can try to pull the plug from air mass meter and drive to check if it runs better

Hello guys, thanks for all you input turns out it was the swirl flaps that had failed - I have a three part video on YouTube so hopefully if someone else has this issue, will help them out;
