Has anyone used the OBD2 wifi or Bluetooth transmitters with the Android apps like Torque. Just wanted general experience with these. Looks like you can get a fair bit of data for a $20 to $45 plug.

Thanks.

I have an ELM327 cheap one (v1.5) for quite some time but I just tried it for a couple of times with torque in the mini. Can see several info regarding oil, coolant, catalyser, intake air temperatures. Fuel tank %, revs... And some stuff more. .. So far it works ok. I was curious to see how much time would it normally take to get the oil to running temps. It would be a nice feature to have on the board computer...

Thought I'd take a punt for $10 and try out one of the cheap ones. Should arrive in a few days. I've downloaded the Android Torque app. One of the reviews advised that purchasing TorquePro significantly increases the response tome to around .5 seconds so I may try that as well.

I thought it would be a good way of recording performance based on modifications.
