Wanted to set up a thread where people can post any news/updates so that we're all clued in to what is happening. Here are a couple of things I am curious about as we now wait for our MINI's to arrive

1) Delivery Dates and when you ordered your MINI

2) What deals are being offered to make up for the delay. Thought it would be nice for all of us to know what other people are being offered

Great Thread Idea!!

I am in Canada. I ordered my Fully Loaded Pepper White MC on July 17th and it arrived in Canada September 9, 2014.
FINALLY got my VIN yesterday.
NO incentives and NO news of confirmed delivery date.

I am feeling excitely livid!!

I'm from the UK. Very high specced Mini One ordered in mid May.
Been delayed from September to December.
Being under 21, Mini UK point blank refused to give me a demo/ courtesy car.
Asked for a gesture of good will instead otherwise I'll cancel and got £250 off options I wanted to add.
My advice for anyone who has been delayed, stay calm and patient kindly demand Mini for a gesture of good will....especially if it's as long as 7 months like me

Wow Midnight Black...that is nuts. What is causing that long of the delay? I thought most of the delays were in the US because of the EPA thing... Good luck on the wait!

Skg29 - Hopefully you get news soon. That is a long time to wait knowing it is somewhere in your country. Might be worth doing what Midnight Black said and ask for a sign of goodwill.

Mini UK haven't given us a reason. I have heard that all Mini One's have been delayed but no one really knows why. Thank you, will post pictures up as soon as it arrives!

Skg29- Defiantly worth asking. If you threat to cancel your order, they are bound to do something for you. Even if it's vouchers towards accessories or something, which I've heard has been done before. Hope it arrives real soon!

Mine was off the boat yesterday in Baltimore. I ordered in early September so I haven't been waiting long. But our sales rep told me they are expecting this week to start seeing the cars already sold to start making their way to the dealership.Since there are a lot waiting I am expecting those who ordered much earlier to be ahead of me in line.

Well, ordered mine July 6th I think and it was built august 9th (fully loaded, wit the exception of a few things)... I was told it would be late september/early october for delivery. I don't expect anything as he's given me that deadline before I even ordered it.

There is no delivery date as of 2 days ago when I asked. I will update once I get it. I'm in Mississauga Ontario by the way.. and my car is hanging out in Halifax.

It said on the NAM site that all the 2015 Minis have been released from EPA jail except the MCS Autos. So it looks like it's time to load up the trucks and head for the dealerships. Mini sent $100 merchandise cards to quite a few people waiting too.

The trucks in NJ/NY have been loaded for days. You could see them from an overpass. The oldest orders will make it out first then down the line. Last but not least dealer stock orders will be released

I am in Ontario, Canada. My blazing red Cooper S was ordered June 14. It was built July 25 and arrived in Halifax in mid August. I only know any of this from tracking down the info myself using tips from this forum and other forums. I have had no contact from my dealership. When we contacted Mini Canada for an explanation about the delay, they passed us back to the dealership. If there were any other car out there that made me smile like the Mini does, I would be cancelling my order because the whole experience has left me with a bad feeling about the whole business. I also ordered it with summer tires, thinking it would still be good weather when it got here. I'm starting to fear I might need to go directly to snow tires!

I ordered Volcanic Orange MC Hardtop on June 27. It arrived in Baltimore on July 29th. I received an email from my MA today saying the MC Hardtops were being released today. The MCS Hardtops to be released on Oct. 6th. They did not offer any delivery date estimate.
I don't really expect any further perks since I have been driving a rental car paid for by Mini since Mid August.

I ordered mine August 31st. It was built September 22nd. My dealer told me delivery would take place November. Probably said that so I would not expect it sooner.

We shall see when it gets here.

Ordered my British Racing Green MCS on June 17. The day it hit port was the day of the EPA shutdown. I have been told they would treat me right because of the delay but nothing solid. The Dealership here in Austin seems to be doing what they can so I'm sure it will be fine.

My dealer said we should hear in a couple of days. No word other than MINI was working on doing something for us for the delay. Hoping to hear more soon... will post when I hear more info

date loaded:July 29th
arrival: Aug 20th @PORT HUENEME, CA

I got all the information above myself, nothing from the hopeless dealer. It has already been sooooo long and I already can not feel the pain of waiting.
Will keep you guys informed and we will see how long it's actually gonna take.

The MINI USA Owner's Lounge just switched my car over within the last hour from En Route (sitting in Port Hueneme, or possibly the large VDC parking lot) to Vehicle Distribution Center (also in Port Hueneme, but 1.4 miles from the dock). [I've got pictures, in case anyone wants them from the September 5/6 drop-off by the Torrens vehicle vessel]

It's a VO MCS automatic (our 2002 Electric Blue MCS is manual. We love it, but it gets old very quickly in SoCal traffic!).
