Yes, I had this happen to mine 2 weeks ago. May 2014 build Cooper S. Parked up at work and got out to find it emptying its oil all over the car park. I didn't need a replacement engine though and I've got to say that MINI emergency assist were excellent in recovering the car and organising the repair and courtesy car. All good now.
