Hello everyone! I have a 2014 standard Mini Cooper with about 5200 miles on it and I'm not sure if I'm having a problem with the start/stop system or not. I know that the system will turn the engine on if the steering wheel is moved or the engine is not warm enough but I noticed at about every other stoplight the engine will just turn on for no apparent reason; even after an ample amount of time for the oil to warm up. I have had it turn off/on up to two times during a single stoplight to where the ignition switch led glows a solid red until I manually turn the car off and on again! Is this normal operation for a sensitive feature or a genuine problem?

It also restarts if it senses low battery voltage or if the a/c is running and the cabin temp is more than 2 degs above the set value.
