Hi all,

I have a F56 Cooper MWG with the factory fitted classic bonnet stripes. Later on I had the spot lights fitted to my car which aren't aligned with the stripes. I was aware of it before and thought that it wouldn't be very difficult to live with. However, recently my OCD has kicked in and thinking of having the stripes replaced with the ones which come with the Challenge 210 (centre stripes, front and back).

I do understand that the body work is different on the Challenge 210 and not really sure how would it turn out.

Also considering having the head and tail light trims wrapped in black.

Here are some pics for your reference..

Who says the driving lights have to line up with the bonnet stripes? I'm about as OCD as anybody believe me, and it doesn't bother me one eeny weeny bit! LOL!

It's a MINI, so anything goes right? Too many builds without rally lights these days, so Kudos to you for having the savy to order yours!

Long live driving/rally lights (rare on these F56's)! :D

Cheers,

John

I wouldn't change them unless you really want to. I think they look fine. These are the challenge stripes on my old R56. I liked them. Haven't figured out what I'm gonna do with the F56. I'm having my roof painted chili red so I have to wait anyway.

This is sort of what I'm thinking of. Red stripes on the thunder grey bonnet and boot, and dark grey on the red roof.

Personally I wouldn't have stripes, I like the clean look of a bonnet without them.. I think even if I were to have purchased a Challenge 210 Edition car I'd of had the stripes removed. I'm a firm believer in less is more.
