Hi guys, I am considering Viper Stripes as opposed to the standard factory Bonnet Stripe.
Any one have experience of these or an opinion at least?
The car is going to be White Silver so will have a black contrast roof.
I fancy some heavy duty Viper Stripes.... Or will it make me look like a [email protected]!

My opinion is that I prefer no stripes. Discreet and modest.

Which I guess is why I didn't readily share my opinion.

I have had a brain wave (I thought I looked a bit pale earlier)
I will NOT order bonnet stripes (Oh bugger, another spec change...)
I will arrange a little something special in the way of a Viper style stripe with a twist on my MCS when it arrives that will hopefully lead to some approving nods when it is complete.

Well it's happened.
I have started to search for naked MINI's and am finding they appear to have an allure of their own.
No stripes, no accessories, just good spec and tasteful combinations.
I have to admit, I may be turning toward..... The Plain Side.

There are still questions to be asked such as "Can I cut it in a plain car" and "Will the girls still like me without stripes"? But I am hopeful of finding the righteous and true path of Striping Without Stripes.

I suggest taking a paint brush to it and putting on whatever you want.

As an aside... a plain coloured cat is just one where the tabby stripe pattern is the same colour as the background fur. In the right light and at the right time of year my black cat can reveal his really dark brown stripes...

... so maybe it's the same with minis. They might look plain but they've all got stripes at heart

And don't forget you can always add some of those bright little colour wheel hub cover accessory things.

Yea - I got the idea from a book I recently read called Fifty Shades Of Beige (or some other similar colour - I can't quite remember). Really disappointed with it as I thought it was a colour chart book - read all three in the series before realising my mistake !!
