Good choice in my eyes.I went matching roof on mine![]()
Thanks, I also did a sunroof delete so it'll be nice flow of solid color up there as wellGood choice in my eyes.![]()
Yep, there’s lots of discussion on the spacers out there, but from my own experience, never had any issues. I’ve had them on my Boxster for 17 years and dad has always had them on his 911s. I think as long as you don’t go crazy and end up with negative offset, you go for top quality manufacturer and installer, sensible thickness and choose hubcentric, there’s nothing to go wrong. As you said, the goal is that uninterrupted rear eyeline! That sounds well thought out. It's also nice to get some detailed opinion on how they sit in stock form. I don't dislike the design, I'm sort of neutral on them, but I'm not a big fan of black wheels and the fact that they sit a bit too far in and don't really flesh out the wheel well is a bit annoying. I'd like that rear eyeline to go hips down without the indent/negative space of the sunken wheel, like you said, they have a good ass. I'll be anxious to see how the spacers work out. I've always been against them, but I've also always been in larger vehicles and there are good reasons to not put a spacer on something like a Land Cruiser.
I haven't made any decisions either though. The Alleggerita is a great looking wheel. I like the Team Dynamics and the Rays wheels I posted in that wheel thread as well, and I still like the OZ HyperGT, so at least there are options. I was trying to stick with a 17 and have a little more rubber but at the same time, there are more wheel options at 18 so I get why people go that route as well. I don't think I'd go bigger than that though personally. Could get real weird with it and put some Integrale's on
**Still haven't done enough looking into recommended wheel specs for the JCW, I'd been distracted with seeing if mine would come through as I wanted and I didn't want to get ahead of myself too much, so I'm open to insight on that if you know what to look out for, though I'll spend some time here soon, that'll open the search up past certain sites preconfigured guides that are just based on selcing a JCW from a menu.
That is a very nice look indeed - a bit of a rally look, I like it!Konig Hypergram are also interesting...nice to see a wheel with a little lip.
No idea on brake clearance though. Sa wthey had 17x8 +45

Ah I see - I did actually wonder how come you managed to get a manual one, thought maybe a different market. I think we can also only get auto with JCW Clubmans. Either way, it’s going to be one very cool ride 😎yep can wait to see it .... never actually seen rebel green in real life.... im taking a punt! I had orderd BRG originally then changed it as i wanted it more like the original BRG colour.
Mine is a AUTO not manualthey dont give us the manual option for a Clubman in AUS
That's very encouraging (re spacers) I'm just coming from a world where putting them on something like a heavy Land Cruiser that's seeing off pavement use is not a great idea, so my head is still in that mindset, and I need to free that up. Plus that will open the options even further as well as help nail the aesthetics. Thanks for that info.Yep, there’s lots of discussion on the spacers out there, but from my own experience, never had any issues. Sounds like you definitely haven’t made up your mind yet 😁 The TDs and HyperGTs are both looovely wheels! Decisions, decisions. To be honest, I haven’t done much research into which ones fit over the JCW, or meet the spec. Like with the spacers, I’m going to leave it to the pros, i.e. get Lohen to advise on offset for any particular wheel if I go down that route. I spoke to them briefly, and apparently there’s so many offset options with OZ wheels, that you can almost go with any of the models, it’s just that they may cost a bit more if they’re not stock. I’ll definitely keep you posted if I go that route. But will try the spacers first and will see - I’ll post some photos for sure once they’re fitted 👍
And I agree that anything above 18in is not necessary, 18s already look solid. But then these 19s are no so bad either 😁

Not long now 😬 I’m still waiting for a shipMine's at the port now.
Starting to think about ordering a few small things over the next few weeks...phone mount, sport antenna, possibly a Scanguage.
Yeah. I don't have a link off-hand but @J99CWW has a shot of it on his thread that he put on his.Not long now 😬 I’m still waiting for a ship
sports antenna ….Is that from Mini ?
Thanks! I’m surprised the JCWs don’t come with one standard 👍🏻@ncutinelli Part number for that antenna: 65202296772
Yeah it seems like it'd be a standard issue. Thought the stocker isn't bad, has a good old school vibe. But if you put a rack on it may stick up a bit high? Thanks! I’m surprised the JCWs don’t come with one standard 👍🏻
As @BTB mentioned, standard one’s OK, the sport one gives a bit more of a streamlined look 👍Thanks! I’m surprised the JCWs don’t come with one standard 👍🏻
Looking good.As @BTB mentioned, standard one’s OK, the sport one gives a bit more of a streamlined look 👍

When I called them a few days ago they were pretty confident that the manual transmission would be in my build. They went as far as to pull my order up and confirm there were no change notes.I'm cautiously hoping it is in but I don't have a way to tell at the moment. BimmerWork doesn't have any trans info on it either. I think tomorrow I'll email my sales rep and see if she can check for me. People on here seem to be saying that May/June builds will have them, if that's true than I think I'm good. 🤞
Congrats! Might end up on the same boat too, mine's still at the portWhen I called them a few days ago they were pretty confident that the manual transmission would be in my build. They went as far as to pull my order up and confirm there were no change notes.
Mine went into Awaiting Carrier Assignment today. STOKED.
