LOL. I am crossing all fingers and toes that you do get it before me. Otherwise there will be some serious explaining by Mini.

The contrasting black colour roof is delaying shipment to Australia, apparently. If I wanted a white roof, or a blue roof, it would only take three months.

I looked at the Deep Blue there, I already had mine on order, but still they were very friendly and helpful considering there was no chance of a sale.

I'd been there three times and test drove the Blue twice. No pressure, no issues. Thats why I went back to them. Friendly as!

I think most of the wait is the boat transport possibly?

My car, ordered like 4 weeks now, still hasn't been built yet...so I presume a late October delivery for me.

Wow, really? My dealer had two slots available, so he's put mine in one of the spare ones. I've yet to get the confirmation though. I might give them a call about it.

Yes this seems to be the way they do it in the UK too... dealers get a quota of slots, so I suppose you wait longer if you go to a popular dealer (like I must have). 5.5 weeks in and just a provisional build week for me.

I wonder why there isn't just one queue and then first come first served?
