Really... They sold like 3 when I was there, they get really busy :-( which is good for them, but sad for me lol.

I wonder why there isn't just one queue and then first come first served?

I would assume that within a quota month there is one queue. As you say though within that month dealer A may get 10 slots dealer B may get 5. If you happen to be customer 6 at dealer B you go into next months pot.

I am on the verge of treating myself to an M4 I am guessing each dealer probably only gets one or two slots per month for those...

Yay. Just got confirmation that my car has been given a Chassis number. My Status is 150 at the moment.

It looks like it won't be built until 27/7 and I can track it once the car has been built.

And my car has been built, and is on the boat! It left Southampton on Saturday 5/7

ETA shows August, even though I was given October delivery. I am sure that will change.

Yea. Completely unexpected. Dealer has confirmed it will be in the country August15, but unlikely to be at dealership until early September.

Now I have to go about selling my current car ASAP

just got word that mine is built & due at the dealer on the 16th! that's a 9 week order right in the middle of the plant issues so i'm a happy camper

Sounds like our MINI's are on the same boat!!
I have a factory tour booked before I take delivery of my baby.
My dealer is still saying late august tho.

Hey I haven't been active in a while because I got my mini but I don't understand, I figured our minis were on the same boat but u got mine on 19 August ????????

Yea. I spoke to my dealer and he said he has it ready for delivery on Monday. I asked if he had any sneaky photos of it, and he actually did. He went to the holding bay the week before and took photos of the new cars. :x

Well it's a little my fault too. Cliffnotes version, I was told it would be a four month wait at the time of ordering, so I organised finance for beginning October. Little did I know it would arrive in August, and I couldn't get the cash. They offered to hold it for me until I was ready to collect. So here I am, ready to collect :laugh:

I nearly had a similar problem with selling my previous car, but mini were very good to me and handed it over the day before my birthday!! Best present ever !!!!!
