Hi all,

New to this forum and from the UK.
So my girlfriend has just bought a brand new F56 JCW in thunder grey and I drive a N54 BMW 135i.

Anyhow the car looks amazing and was wondering what your thoughts are about on running in the car or if it's even required with these new engines as I believe they would have covered a lot of miles in testing in factory?

Regarding running in, this topic got beat to death a couple of years ago in this forum. See here: http://www.minif56.com/forum/297-mini-cooper-news/17826-what-best-break-procedure.html



I have a F56 JCW on order and I'm planning on doing the same as I did for my F56 S: Follow the manual. Don't thrash it too hard until after the first couple of thousand miles.
