with a 5x112 bolt pattern you should be able to find cool after market rims that other Car Makers use too like Audi VW MB I just wonder if the Hub Size is different on a Mini than say an after market rim that fits on a VW. For some reason some of the People that sell rims have no idea. :( If I remember correctly the ET is 54 on the new Mini.

Tire Rack does not even List Wheels yet for the new F 56.:| Funny it is easier to find Wheels for a 747 than a F56. :D

I have talked to two wheel companies here in DK. They did not have the F56, but they have now after I convinced them to add it :)

The problem for them is, that the official government approval is different if the car was delivered with 15" or 16" and up..

That confuses the configurators...

The correct measurements for 6.5 width alloys is ET54 with a center bores of 66.5... The 15" is delivered on 5.5" wide rims that has ET 46...

But now the configurator suggest 6.5" wide alloys with ET45, that would not sit right...

This center bore of 66.5 is quite rare for 5x112, so they normally offer alloys with larger center and add center rings to deal with that.

Well if you like to be sure of a perfect fit, then you need to select the Alloys by measurements anyway, since the wheel companies add all the ones that fit to Goverment Rules, and not necessarily the ones that look good :)

For us it is standard track width +/- 10mm..

I want a fit like the originals, not one that is 10mm off regardless that it is legal.. ;)

I like the first one too! Nothing wrong with the stock wheels though. Before I went to the "dark side" and ordered Midnight Black, I was going with the VO and I was really on the fence whether to go with the black spoke or silver spoke wheels. I like both, but the black spoke looks best on lighter color cars IMO.

The offset of the MINI wheels is intriguing to me, since all my cars before my new MINI (on order) have been rear wheel drive (mostly BMW's)....and the offset of rear wheel drive cars is more like ET18, ET20, up to ET30....ET54 is bollistically "inward" as far as offsets go....but that is surely due to the front wheel drive setup.

I can see me wanting to install spacers and longer lugs already to push the wheels outward a bit! ;)

I am planning to upgrade my base 15" Helispoke rims which comes with PCD5x100 ET 46 offset and 5.5J width and tyre size 175/65 to 16" rims with PCD 5x100 ET 48 offset and 6.5J width and tyre size 215/55.

Not sure if there will be any issues with change in offset size and tyre size to 215, any suggestions.

Thanks guys.

SgMini love the look of the wheels and how they stand out a little (2ndPic) but the gap between the rim and the tire looks a bit weird/ like somebody stole some rubber to fix a flat too me. Anymore Pictures by any chance ?:D

indeed, the tire is way undersized. for R17x8 wheels, the minimum width should be at 215 while mine is only 205.

i actually don't mind the wheel protruding out a little but i suspect if i were to drop the car, the wheels may end up rubbing the fender a little.

anyway, i have since swap out the OZ and replaced it with the PRODRIVE GC012L in black. R17x7.5 with the same set of tires. looks much better i feel. it is a pity cause I was starting to like the OZ Formular HLT. the wheels are extremely light and most importantly, it doesn't burn a big hole in your pocket.

Here's some more photos of my previous set up. Ignore the slight distortion on the last photo. was using ultra wide lens.
