I've been buying waxy boxes. You get 5 different samples of high end car products and a wax plus micro fibre cloths for £15 plus p&p. I've got quite a collection. Check out the waxybox website

The Carbon collective range looks good, it's what I'm choosing for my wheels and windows when my mcs arrives. I would do the body too but I enjoy trying out new products and would get machine polished off anyway at some point.

Mines being picked up 30th July and although I've never used it, I was also considering the Gtechniq route - and we're both red/black by the looks of it.

My brother is an alloy refurb specialist for high end marques and tells me C1 is pretty amazing stuff.

Have you decided yet?

Yep, I've ordered C1 for the paint, C4 for the black plastic trim, I1 for the fabric in the seats and C5 for the wheels.

+1 for 'opti-coat'.

On all those car detailing forums, 'Opti-coat' (or 'Opti-guard' if professionals are applying) has incredible feedback. There are way more positive comments, then negative which is very unusual as everyone has an opinion on the best thing for their car/stereo/computer-whatever the forum may be about.

I haven't seen a general consensus like this since the internet got invented. Don't take my word for it-Google it.

I take charge of my car in September and am considering this for it.

I've just polished mine and used chemical guys butter wet wax and have to say it has given it a really nice wet loom finish.
Nice! I just went by their store this weekend and picked up JetSeal and a nice ButterWax I think they called it. I applied the JetSeal and it already has a really pretty shine to it and I'm planning on next weekend adding a coat of the wax.

Hi

I think butter wet wax is the older version of your butter wax. So yours should be even better. It's really easy to put on and take off and you can do it in full sun which is a bonus
