Has anyone else noticed some marring of the paint on the door jam above the lock just below the level of the bottom of the window?

Just spotted this on mine today. There is a clear urging mark that has taken the clear coat off the paint. It is on both sides, worse on the driver side.

It looks like it has been caused by the rubber seal mounted on the door.

Will post if I get time and can figure out how to do so.

Someone else mentioned this on the FB page. Seems like this is a known issue ...

Someone suggested polishing the affected area?
Ah!, thanks for letting me know.

I would think it would just return if polished out. Seems like a tolerance issue to me with the rubber seal. The door appears to sit correctly.

I have the same problem on both driver and passenger side and have raised this with my dealer. Still await a resolution, but it's definitely caused by the seals at the top of the door rubbing on the bodywork.

All the cars on the dealers forecourt were the same so it's not an isolated issue, although more difficult to notice on lighter colours.

Mine is also affected by the "rubber" thing on the door abading against the B post when the door shuts.

The material specified/used for the rubber thing is much too coarse and does act like sandpaper.

Surely there is no need for such rough material in that position?

Very odd, good luck as that doesn't look right-only 200 mls and 1 1/2 weeks into owner ship of mine so no sign of this as yet! Only fault so far the little silver cap on the door handle key cover seems to fall off very easily so popped a bit of silicon in-still easy to get off if I need to!
Every time I look at the car I love it a bit more and driving is just a joy!

mine fell off when i picked the car up so they nicked another off a showroom car. The dealer has to pop this cover off to unlock the car when they receive them & they can easily get damaged. i'd pop back to your dealer & have them give you a replacement.
