hello,

Would need some help/ input here .
car parking bulb keeps blowing and i have tested several bulb , i.e normal yellow ones , LED t10 with can-bus, they will be blown after driving a day or two.

I have done a voltage test on the socket it reads 14.9 V.
questions is,can a light bulb of 12V tolerate 14V output from the socket ?

should I add in higher resistor on the fuse area to bring down voltage or should I look for a 14V light bulb ?

any help rendered is appreciated.

This is not my area of expertise but another consideration is to check the voltage drop when under load, this could play a factor in what could be happening. Maybe there is a minor short circuit occuring which could give you higher spikes in amperage across this circuit.
