Is there anyone having a problem with the PCV valve? Two F56 takes the towing this week with the same problem. Mini must change the valve cover, the PCV valve is integrate, after they found it cause some wetness in the engine's head. Mine goes under engine protection, flood the engine, clog the exhaust systems causing overheat and melting exhaust support. It took more than 2 days of research at my dealer to found the problem. The second one just went bad when starting and stall after that. Same problem, same body colour (black) same waiting time for the parts ( 2 weeks).

Yes. Similar issues here. I was having rough idle issues on cold start. Took it to the dealer and discovered the PCV valve had failed and blew oil everywhere, down into the valves and injectors. Had to pay for a new valve cover at $400 because the PCV valve is now integrated into the cover in an attempt to meet emission standards. Would have been an easy replacement at 30K miles, but with the new design, can't be replaced without excessive cost. Also had to pay $800 for a media blast to remove carbon build up. And then learned that it contributed to HPFP issues -- another $500. 2012 JCW Coupe. I'm pissed.
