Performance parts interchangeable

All,

I am just curious as to how interchangeable performance parts are between the 56 and 56s.

Basically I want to know what parts (e.g. intake, exhaust, or any other go-fast-bits) I can either:

A- take off the 56s and put on the 56
B- order (will a part designated for the 56s work on the 56)

Probably not very...

The exhausts definitely won't be - the pipe bends in different spots and where they come out is completely different. The Cooper has a single side pipe and the Cooper S has twin pipes that exit in the center.

Intakes may be interchangeable depending on the intake - the air box it would replace is the same between the two.

There are tuning modules, but I believe they are all made to work with the Cooper S engine and not the 3-cylinder.
Stage one tuning from Burger Motorsports (look for the B38 module)

Nice - 20 more horses and 30 torque!

I have also heard back from Quicksilver about a B38 compatible exhaust which should be available in the next few weeks.
Our 3 cylinders sound great already - can you imagine what a nice pipe will do!?

PS- My first post here but I've been on NA motoring for about a year :)

This is fantastic! I hit up my sales guy so he can talk to the dealership to avoid any warranty situations, I am living in Italy so he's my go to/middle man, and we'll see what they tell him!

*fingers crossed*

I wonder if the F56 S exhausts could be fairly easily modified by the manufacturer to fit the F56 Cooper, as it looks like the stock exhausts are very similar right up to the point where the tail pipe(s) come out of the silencer.
