Does anyone have experience with the Gtechniq C4 Permanent Trim Restorer?
Rectangle Font Circle Gas Box

If so, how did it work for you and what are some tips for application?
Any other suggestions for long lasting coatings for the exterior trim?

Yes ,on our roadster and pretty good stuff. First time I did it it didn't last as I didn't clean the plastic well enough. Polypropylene alcohol and a real good scrub then if in doubt again to get previous residue off then follow the C4 instructions. Ours is getting ready for another go 3 years on but it lives in a garage and only does 2k miles yearly

I'm hoping to get at least a year or so out of an application. Glad to hear it's lasted so long on someone else's mini. Love detailing but dealing with faded plastic not so much. I've tried a few cheaper solutions, but they all fade with 2/3 weeks with rain and washes.
I was actually just browsing and came across your post from January last year I believe regarding the BMW/Mini Protect X. How's it holding up for you? Looks very interesting.

That seems really good-paint still feels lovely when I wash it, and insects come off easily. The glass still beads. Not got the seats particularly dirty so not sure yet about the cloth treatments. So far very impressed with the stuff for £18 and a couple of hours elbow grease! I'm itching to wax it but there'd be no point! Still acts as if it were. However there's nothing in the kit for the plastics. Not done C4 yet on it as swmbo doesn't seem to keep cars that long but will if it's a keeper! (the Roadster is a keeper!)

I've gotten lucky with a kind UK based Ebay seller who is shipping me the Mini Protect X kit over to the US. Seems as though the kit is impossible to find over here. I'm excited to try it out once it arrives and the winter weather breaks. (One might come well before the other with the way shipping has been lately) Hopefully a good polish followed by this stuff will clear all the winter grime in time for some mini events happening in April.
