The JCW was 3 1/2 years old, out of warranty and approaching 50k miles so I thought it was time for a change. Saw the volcanic orange S , fell in love and bought on the spot. It was x demo, under 2k miles and 1 mth old and had all the bells and whistles I was looking for. Much more refined than the JCW - but still miss it and would certainly look at another in the future!

I do have VDC - however I do prefer the handling of the JCW although the ride in the JCW was much harsher. I also preferred the closer ratio of the JCW box - it seemed that when you changed down you actually got a braking effect - that seems to have diminished in the MCS. Don't get me wrong I really enjoy the smoothness and comfort of the MCS - it's just not quite as raw !!
