Primarily as a result of a couple co-workers that have owned older Minis and reading all the posts of your guys for months, I decided that I couldn't live without one. I bit the bullet and decided to check out the new 4 door hardtop first hand and see what the dealership experience was like.

I thought I'd have to custom order to get what I wanted because nothing in inventory was even close, until I noticed my local dealership had a hanger queen that was perfect except for the color - I had my heart set on electric blue. Fourteen miles on it and parked on the showroom for months. The more I looked at it, the more I liked the color. A fantastic trade-in offer on my Jeep Wrangler and I suddenly found myself the proud owner of a Mini 4 door Hardtop S in moonwalk grey, black roof and stripes with the prettiest lounge leather interior I've even seen.

Then I had them add the Sirius, because why not when it has everything else.

Nice. I absolutely lust those wheels. Too bad I can't get them on the 2 door S.

My baby just hopped on the ship a few hours ago, so just a couple more weeks for this kid!

Those are definitely my favorite wheels too. I still can't believe how smooth the ride is even with those low profile tires on those wheels. Much more comfortable than my 2002 Subaru WRX sportwagon.

I discovered that I have mood lighting on the way home. It's going to be fun discovering little bonuses like this as I get more familiar with all the controls.

Fantastic looking car (I would say that as it is the exact twin of mine ).

I love the wheels too - quite like it that you can only get them on the 5 door at the moment.
