Driving down the highway a couple days ago and I hear this loud pop and then a couple of metallic jingling sounds, almost as if I ran over something metallic and it popped a tyre. Stopped a few minutes later where it was safe to and checked the side and wheels of my car where I thought the noise came from but couldn't see anything.
Then this morning when loading something into my boot I notice the rear tow cover is missing on my bumper! I haven't had any accidents or anything and wasn't going over any bumps or anything at the time, but looks like it has just popped off by itself while driving.
It really shouldn't just pop off by itself, I wonder if Mini would replace this for me under warranty?
