Any ideas? I had a wee look on the help section on the display but it doesn't say how to go about a retune. A radio station i was listening to yesterday mentioned retuning to jeep receiving it......
Does DAB in the mini not auto-tune automatically/on-the-fly? I know when I travel about over the country it will pick up local stations automatically without me having to do anything. Just scroll and search from the All Ensembles menu.
I think it's only the pre-sets that would require resetting.
You should get a list of what is currently being received when you go to All ensembles. I'm sure FM has an auto-tuner/dual tuner too of some sorts.
There has been changes in the DAB multipexes recently I think, and few test stations showing (Such as Virgin Radio) along with a few moving around on the network. Perhaps this is why some stations are suggesting to re-tune?
Anyone have an answer to this? The '64 plate clubman i had this week as a courtesy car definitely had more dab stations available than my f56. Ive tried deselecting 'all ensembles' and reselecting but nothing changes. The only ensembles i have are BBC National and Leeds as a local one
Well Virgin Radio UK launched on the 30th March and I've just been out to my new Clubman and scrolled through the list of DAB stations and there it was right near the end. So seems to autotune for me.
Absolute 80s is now saying Absolute 80's OLD and that I need to retune to Absolute 80's NEW. Have tried just about everything but no change yet. Any ideas?
Thanks
There is no retune or reset on the unit, ive had this confirmed by my dealer sales exec who is a personal friend and had half the showroom on the case this morning. There is a new ensemble broadcasting in the UK called SDL National which contains many new stations including Absolute 80s and Virgin http://www.sounddigital.co.uk
The car unit should pick this up automatically if you are in a transmission area, just navigate to where the ensembles are listed and it should be there
