Every so often the rev-match function on my manual F56 JCW doesn't kick in. As I pull in the clutch, the engine isn't up to speed so decelerate really heavily.

It's obviously a software issue but the dealer can't fix it, and hasn't heard of the issue on anything else.

Anyone on here get this happen and able to fix?

And does this problem appears in any riding mode?

I only drive in Sport mode so it hasn't a change to show up in any other.

I've read that not fully disengaging the clutch and turning traction control switches off rev-match.

Neither of these thing actually switches rev-match off in my car....

I have read that you have to switch DSC and TC off before it's disabled by keeping the button pressed for at least 3 seconds to fully disable it

Mine doesnt rev match if the engine is cold; nor does it rev match if you're a bit slack on the clutch and dont quite depress it fully!

Not a big fan but of it but it's annoying when it doesn't when you're expecting it.

I'm like that with the bangs....best ones always seem to be when you're least expecting them and you have music on a bit too loud to appreciate it!!
