Is there still a run in period for new cars? What were you guys advised to do when taking delivery of your new JCW's?

I'd say don't bother... I let my SD slowly come to life with the first tank of fuel. However when my mum picked her JCW up, we got out to the smell of hot metal and plastic... You only live once.
