i did my break in period on my jcw 16' 1200 miles/2000km as much as i wanted to push the car its a 50/50 thing some agree some disagree with it but the owner manual said it so im gonna do it (guy at the dealer told me 500km is fine but eh bmw know more about their car so i follow the manual tbh) glad i did and i changed my oil at 1800km there was a lot of little shiny metal piece in the oil
oh and for the auto transmission fluid i wouldn't touch that tbh just my 2 cents
