Seat memory position

I have a question regarding seat memory position from when someone gets in the back and you fold the seat back.

My MINI Cooper with sport seats built November 2014 has the function on the passenger seat, but not the driver seat. Could other people with sport seats see if your driver seat has this function or not?

I've mentioned it to the sales guy we dealt with, but he thinks the new MINI doesn't have a memory position for safety reasons. He tried it on a showroom car and they don't for either seat, so bit strange how the passenger seat on my car does.

Thanks,
John

Managed to fix my driver seat so now both seats do remember last position they where in.
You just need to move the seat all the way forward and let it lock into position there. Then both it all the way back and let it lock into position again. Repeat this a few times before setting the seat in the position you want. Now try getting in the back and see if it is fixed. This worked right away for me so hopefully will fix anyone else's. This is also the same fix to the same problem some people had on the first and 2nd Gen MINI.
According to you, how many times Have I to do this method (movement forward, lock, back, lock, forward, lock. etc?
Thanks a lot! My passenger seat has the problem you solved...

ps: what does "both" mean? thanks :)

I followed your instructions but it doesn't work :( but I found the problem :D
On the runner I noticed a little plastic piece that has, on the upper part, some kind of "button", that does "click" when you press. I pressed it few times and then I moved it back and forward on the runner, then, I lift up the back rest and the memory now works :D I'm very very happy!
