For owners with 1.5 petrol B38 engine. At how many miles or time did you change the accessory kit for the V-belt and crankshaft pulley?
How many miles has now your car and you didn't change it?
Mine has 71.000 km and I feel some vibrations, and I think are from the crankshaft pulley.

Have not found any belt replacement schedule for my MINI but with other brands of cars the factory called for a 60K mile replacement interval.

An argument could be made even with less than in this case 60K miles that after 6 years the belts need to be replaced due to age/exposure.

~ 40,000 kms, 2019 model 4.5years old, I have not changed anything.
I'm interested what else need to be changed?

I went to do this myself at 90K miles on our 2.0L S and gave up in frustration (I've rebuild and replaced engines, transmissions, etc). On the 2.0 there is no space to get in there, so I ended up giving up and taking to a specialist. 5 hours and $1K USD later I had a new belt. Actually, while they were in there I had them change the water pump so I wouldn't have to pay that labor again so it was actually almost 10 hours and over $2K USD, not cool!

A few days later I did the belt on my Subaru Outback and timed it to see how long it would take. I changed the pulley, tensioner, and the belt. It took a grand total of 12 minutes and $150 in parts.

Now I know the Mini is a lot smaller and tighter space to work in but $1K to change a serpentine belt (not even a timing belt)? Come on!
