Is anyone having this problem
The passenger side window automaticaly opens when i close it and refuses to fully close, it only closes when i close it so slowly by pressing allot
I went to the dealer before for the same problem but it's happening again any ideas what's happening ?
It's a 2016 f56 mini w/ visual boost and 7000km

Sounds like you have to return the car to the dealer and have the window reprogrammed ? or electrical issue sorted out by the dealer ?

Sounds like it might be t he anti trap mechanism at fault . does the window move up then back down ? I had a golf like that. Found the runner where the window moved in was tight. Bit of silicone spray in the grooves sorted it but we don' t have grooves in frameless windows. Maybe its too sensitive. Dealer needs to sort this for you!

I checked if it bumps into anything but it doesn't, it just reverses and goes down when it reaches a certain point

Went to the dealer when the car was new and they fixed it but it happened again, last time they sort of reset the motor or the control unit i don't remember

Sounds like the Pinch Guard is wonky. It is either software or hardware issue or both. I had this happen in my R56. BOTH motor control units were changed and reprogrammed. I wonder if this is similar ?
