so this is a interesting post, myself and my girlfriend have began to have movie dates in the mini since lockdown and i can watch films we are thinking of taking it camping just for a night or two only problem is the back is not to comfy i am thinking of putting a small blow up bed or something similar in the back with the rear seats folded down. has anyone tried this yet i cant be the only one :)

Have a look at these solutions, not sure what the roof weight capacity would be for your particular model.

Sorry if I say anything that springs to mind, it won't be politically correct! I did try "sleeping" (I don't think it's really called that) in my classic Mini in the 80's, but the seats didn't fold so I gave up! :ROFLMAO:

Oh, erm no I haven't tried in the F56. I have a tent!
no no "sleeping" is comfortable with the seats down but was thinking of actually going camping in it :ROFLMAO:

That tent box is amazing!!! How did you find it?

i see sales of that thing soaring to the roof with upcoming travel limitations and vaxxxxines required for air travel.

I knew they had done something like it for the Countryman and just had a Google about and it came up in a search.
