Hi All,

Slight off topic... I've got s countyman and it's asking for a service. I checked with mini and its to address the breaks.

I'm hesitant to go to main dealer for breaks - but can't work out if I go to a local place / wheels and break centre - is there anyway to update the key fob to record that the breaks have been changed and to turn off the "service" light?

Hi there it is REALLY REALLY easy on the mini-not sure re f56 but older versions-just google it -I changed my brake pad s myself-VERY VERY easy,new sensor than there is a procedure of ignition on at same time as pressing and holding trip buttons etc-VERY simple and it resets as if a dealer had done it! Go for it! I did the pads for chips-pagid pads and sensor from carparts4less-brilliant!
