What interior is that, there are no contrasting door ellipses.

That's amazing that the Mini production control system could fail sufficiently to leave out those trim parts. It's a bit like a misprinted postage stamp - that door panel should be worth a fortune as an extreme rarity. It's almost worth keeping.

Guys I just had a quick play with the configurator, it's been a while...

Anyway with satellite grey colour line and interior colour, then don't specify an interior trim, leave it at the hazy grey default and that's what you get, so I don't believe they missed anything.

Can you tell it's christmas eve, and I'm not 100% in work mode?

My Mini is a Pepper White MC Hardtop and the ellipses are missing throughout the car (both sides, front and back). Thanks to Caveman for helping me with finding what they are called. I've done a lot of looking at MCs on the web and have yet to find one without the ellipses. I know that when I configured it, the picture in the brochure show it with the ellipses. Sorry Mikeswagon, I'm still of the opinion that they just missed putting them on. Angib, I like your thinking that if my dealer can't get them installed I will have a very unique interior.
Thanks to everyone for their responses.

I didn't spec any extra colour on the dAsh just the standard Cooper haze grey. I have no eclipses, just grey plastic. Am happy with that but was surprised.

No need to apologise, opinions are like a**eholes, everybody's got one. >:D

btw the picture doesn't show hazy grey, it's got an optional interior trim which is why it's got black ellipses, and in your first picture the bit between the speaker and the arm pad looks hazy grey hence no ellipse.

You are probably correct in you evaluation about the piece being missing. I looked at my car and my wife's car. I have piano black and my parts are black. My wife interior is a combo of the reddish brown on the dash with fireworks dash parts. Her door parts are black also.
