Hey guys and gals. So excited right now, I just needed to vent!!!

So, at the end of Oct I placed an order for my new Mini. I was told it should be Dec delivery. After only having my last new mini only 18mths ago I know how much the wait can draaaag so I'd convinced myself that it may go into Jan (with Xmas and all that).

So last night I casually emailed the dealer just to let them know that I had received my retention certificate back from DVLA for my private plate. I asked on the off chance if they had a build week yet.

Just got in from work and see I have a reply ... "We're hoping it will go into build w/c 16th so it may even make it by the end of the month".

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah how am I meant to sleep nowwwwww!

Mine is a JCW also and that seems to be progressing really quick so fingers crossed yours will be the same! I'm not gonna be able to sleep now for the next few weeks! Look forward to seeing pics when yours arrives

Cool yeah im having trouble sleeping even now!! Ive been buying parts for weeks got the keyring lanyard, jcw nfc key cap and stubby aerial so far might get the door spot lamps too!

My MINI was VERY quick to be built. I'm no waiting for it to arrive, but yes - Mine is arriving a good 2 months earlier than expected.

Let me tell you, waiting for it is half the fun...driving it home when you picked it up completes it!

My dealer has confirmed my JCW will be here first week of december yay!!

It's here! It's here! Just came in on the transporter this morning! Eeeeek! I'm going to sign all the paperwork on Monday and then have arranged to collect Fri PM. So that's three weeks exactly from when I placed the order (30th Oct). Can't believe how quick it's come through

Love that! And it looks very similar to what mine will so that makes me even more excited!

Dammit I hate waiting ... I was quite calm earlier. Now I've had the call though it's all I can think about. Wish the dealer would just ring me and say "Btw your car is here, come pick it up" ha!

That's great news! I'm so happy for you. I can imagine how elated you'll be when you drive the new ride home.

It's great to see the delivery time come down so much. When I started reading about delivery times around this time last year, 3 months was pretty common. I'm glad that it won't be that long for you!
