Hello everyone,

My apologies if this has been covered in another post, but does anyone know when the Sport pack will be released in the UK? (JCW roof spoiler, aerodynamic kit etc).

Hi B744,
Someone mentioned the sport pack and Chilli Red over the last couple of days.
The thread made reference to them ordering their F56 with this spec.

I have since checked the Mini configuration (UK) and both are not showing.

My first choice colour was Chilli Red and I would have specced the sport pack as we'll.

I settled for Thunder Grey on a Mini Cooper S in the end.

Thank you Steve. I have also contacted MINI Customer Services and they told me that the online configurator for the UK site will be updated on 01 September. I have ordered mine with the Sport package back in May but no firm date yet as to when this option will be available for production.

My local dealer is fantastic but the delay has been far too long now so I was wondering if anyone else has any more 'inside' info on this package. Thanks again!

Hi there,

I've managed to order it.

I had the new brochure from Mini and whilst I couldn't use the configurator online - the dealer could spec it with the JCW kit (sports inside and out) when they set the system forward for a November build.

Been told I should be getting mine on 01 November - but expect some slippage on this date.

* just to add the sports kits are going to be ready for November deliveries (according to both Mini ParkLane and Salisbury)

Many thanks Neil. Good to hear this. I did exactly the same (ordered the car from the original brochure that was released in May14) but still feel quite annoyed with Mini that six months later their online configurator has not been updated to include this option.

I should be getting my car in Sept (so I was told). Let's see! Thanks again

Same price for the sports interior kit (which covers all the chilli pack stuff)

I hope a new configurator comes online soon - I want to see what it'll look like!

It's now on the configurator.... But the price is a little funny.

They've loaded the interior and exterior sports kit together as one pack (by accident it looks) - as you get a bigger saving with the pack than it costs...

Strangely the price all works out in the summary though

Dutch configurator is updated as well. JCW sport package and chili red are added.
I also see that Electric blue is available: I thought that one was reserved for the F55 - 5 doors Mini Cooper?

And in NL still no trace of de F55 in configurator tool.

Yep, as of 1st September, sorted my order out today and got it changed to Chilli Red with JCW pack and 18" Cup wheels

It incorporates the Chilli pack too, along with the spoiler, steering wheel and headlining I'd already added, so it didn't work out much more expensive.
