Has anyone fitted them to their F56 yet? Are there any photos floating about that show what they'll look like? I'm in two minds whether or not to get the dealer to fit a set before I collect mine. Cheers......

saw an S at a dealers the other day and they looked poor - very small compared to the front of the car and as my dealer pointed out - if you have LED headlamps the extra spot lights will add nothing more and will only be there for 'look' only - I've decided not to bother this time - my last three have all had them

Agree with MD1, I was thinking of having them but was fortunate to take a test drive quite late in the evening so got to see how bright the led lights were.

After that, there didn't seem much point to adding them.

We had the spots on our Scooper, the only thing I didn't like is that it covers the S badge on the grille, the light they put out is pretty impressive though, and if you didn't know the S badge was there then they look pretty sweet too.

Edit.. I've tried adding a picture but for some reason it won't show on my browser, link works though

I have ordered them for my wife's car as addition to normal halogen main lights - I would agree, that with LEDs it will be only for the look more than anything else - but with halogens it actually delivers equal performance to LEDs only - though with a bit different light color (warmer). I guess it boils down to personal taste more than anything. I went for chrome version as it matches nicely Midnight Black color of the car....also as the car itself it looks much better in real life than on the pictures....

@milaz, I didn't know that you could still get the f56 with Halogen lights

I may have got confused here but isn't just halogens OR LEDs these days, don't think Xenons are on the CHILI anymore? Like I say, could be wrong, I'm no expert!

I had spotlights on my last R56 and thought they looked great. Was a bit disappointed they could only be used with the high beam headlights though, as most the time they didn't do anything.

I thought about getting them for my F56 but with the LEDs giving more of a brilliant white light, I didn't like the idea of then having the yellow hue from the spots.

Last night we were returning from Pilsner Uurquell brewery and pub visit and as the highway was almost empty, we used the high beem quite often - combination of halogen main and spot lights has given such great performance, that in fact it was superior to what I am used to with xenons on my R class. I wish they would also sell pair of low beam spot lights - but when asked my dealer told me it is not allowed anymore in EU - probably as you cannot adjust it depending on the car load.....

You can check the photo I have posted on 7/5 - New Midnight Black ......it is shown there - in real life looks much nicer than on photos - and performs suprisingly well for their size - though it would not make much sense probably to add it with optional LEDs - but with std. halogens it works greatly.

I have the LED's and the spot lights were included in the Let's Launch pkg on my car. I live in the city so do not need the extra light they provide but I can say that when I experiment with them they do add a considerable amount of light. Plus I actually think they look great on Midnight Black.

Thanks for those photos! Can you perhaps post another one looking directly at the front of the car? That would be ace......

I only have halogens and living in the country I'd really benefit from extra full beam lighting. These might be a go-er after all :)

Sorry for taking so long, but here's a bunch of shots with lights on, off and I tried to get a few of the light pattern on my parking garage wall but they didn't photo well at all. I can say it's a little odd that the driving lights cast a yellow light while the LED's are whitish-purple, but it's not a bad thing. And they do add light to night driving.

Thanks for those! I really appreciate it. Its a pity the S is obscured by the lights but I guess it's always pretty obvious what it is by the scoop on the bonnet :) I don't have the LED headlights to the light will match up fine.
I do really like them - but the dilemma would then be black or chrome - I reckon black as I haven't gone for chome line......

I wonder how easy the S decal is to remove - perhaps it would fix on to the bottom grill instead?
