Personally, the safety advantages of the LED lights far outweigh what they look like. If they were butt-ugly I'd still have bought them. But if appearance is the main thing, by all means buy what you like. Non-LED is certainly cheaper.

Have you driven a car with Xenon or LED lights? I hadn't until my R56 a couple of years ago. I didn't think anything was wrong with the normal lights until then. When I drove other cars after that it was a dramatic difference. I feel my safety was significantly improved by the brighter lights.It's not just how they look, as I think the LED's look fine as well. Every car I've driven hasn't had LED's, and I don't have any issue in the dark with standard lights. I'm going to put that money towards the JCW tuning kit when it becomes available for this model.![]()
