Standard lights photo

Personally, the safety advantages of the LED lights far outweigh what they look like. If they were butt-ugly I'd still have bought them. But if appearance is the main thing, by all means buy what you like. Non-LED is certainly cheaper.

Have you driven a car with Xenon or LED lights? I hadn't until my R56 a couple of years ago. I didn't think anything was wrong with the normal lights until then. When I drove other cars after that it was a dramatic difference. I feel my safety was significantly improved by the brighter lights.

But my eyes are getting old, and I live in a very dark rural area. If you have no issues there then I'm with you on the JCW tune first.
