Hey guys

When I start the Cooper D, I hear a single 'clank' from the back.. someone outside listening says it sounds like the exhaust.

I think it's the end of the exhaust wobbling with the startup and hitting the trim...

Is that normal? Anyone else have it? Should I go back to the dealer?

I think any exhaust clank regardless of engine would be a cause for concern. It sounds as if there is too much movement in the exhaust that when you start the engine the flood of exhaust gasses causes it to clank off of something, which is likely the underside of your car. It could be a loose of broken exhaust clamp or something. Definitely take it to the dealer it's not normal.
