Yes - status 1200 is specification locked down and scheduled for production. The fanboys over on BabyBmw, the 1 series forum, always get over-excited when the status changes as it means the car will soon be headed into (and out of) the factory. The status change means the parts are ordered for that exact car and scheduled for JIT delivery to production hence you can no longer alter the specification.

It seems they've overcome the contrasting roof/HK supply and whatever other issues they had.

Looks like the factory is getting their act together and churning out cars at a decent rate........let's hope the build quality isn't being affected!

Yes lets hope so the last thing they need is anymore problems, leys hope when people on here start getting their cars at a steady rate we don't start getting build issue problems.

I've never had a code from my dealer just the odd update about when they expect delivery etc.

As a new member (to be) of the mini family I can't for one second understand why clients in the UK cannot track their orders online - especially considering the amount of money we are spending.

Next time my dealer calls I'm asking for a code!!!

It is annoying. My guy sent us emails with screengrabs of the status which helped a bit, but not the same as being able to track it yourself.

I would like the BMW Welt delivery option that the Americans get too. Would love to got to Munich and pick up my new M4 and drive it back across Europe...
