status 1200

If we could track it online what do you think would happen to that poor web server?

Today my dealer sent me words and not codes, but the words included "confirmed by production control"... so my car is being built next week.

Then there are two weeks of being banged around on a transporter and left in a flooded field or something, followed by a week of the dealer trying to cover up any problems and a couple of hours of me trying to spot them... or so the horror stories on the internet suggest. Let's hope it doesn't turn out that way!

Why isn't there a fingers crossed emoticon?

Ours got from the factory to the dealer in two days....so you never know

Oooooh!! Didn't you and I order at roughly the same time, maybe mine is at 1200 then? I haven't been told by the dealer, how did you find out andyross37?

Are you dealers supplying you with the production codes so you know at what stage your build is?

All I get from my dealer is build date week 32.

anyone getting the option to choose your number plate?

Same for me... provisional production week, then confirmed, but no codes. I had to ask for the update too... but I was sure there would be some news the week before

People at work tell me you usually get to choose from a few when you buy a new car... I guess the dealer does some sort of batch registration with DVLA.

Whenever I've bought a new car before they have list to choose from but not this time, I've just been given one. Not long now. Beep beep.

I just emailed my sales rep and asked. Mini Park Lane now have a 'Mini Genius' who's also very helpful. She's told me i can message her on Facebook at any time and she'll check the current status for me! Saves me bothering the sales rep who must be tired of me by now! LOL

I'm due for week 28 build & week 30 delivery, so should be built last week of June!

Well I need a Mini Angel then to bet this car into production before eta September 1

I'm trying to see if she exists

Going to answer a couple of people in one go here:

For those who haven't had codes passed onto them, the codes are on page one of this thread.

If you phone your sales rep and let them know you know the codes, and ask them which code stage your order is at.......they just need to look at the order on their system and the code is there.

MiloMini if you don't have any joy, let me know......I have a friend who works for a Mini dealer. All he needs is your order number and he can look on the system and pass the code to me.

Oops, I forgot to answer the one about registrations.

When I asked my dealer yesterday, I was told I would get a choice of 3 registrations to choose from.......I did ask what happens if I don't like any of them......it seems there's a choice of 3 and that's it!

thanks for that, much appreciated. I've just checked my paperwork and realised I don't have my order number! I've emailed Mini Dealer to get that and any updates. Once I've got my order number I may be in touch!! cheers.

Another week down, where does the time go?!! Waiting for an update but I feel as if I am chasing all the time!

Andy, you heard anymore about yours as we are due the same time I believe.

I phoned the dealer yesterday. I'm still status 1200 and still de for week 28 build.

We're currently on week 26.

My dealer said the code usually changes the week before build, so I said I'd phone next week and check.

Should be built week ending 12th July.

Personally I thought 5050 was half and half so does that mean the car has to be added up?
