My cars status is 5055! How much longer have I got to wait?

How long does it usually take to be made?

I'm not sure what status "5055" means. I found this posting to be very helpful in finding out the status of my MINI. The 1-866-ASK-MINI line in particular was fantastic. Not only were they friendly, they were able to tell me to the day when my car would go on the transport and when it would arrive at my dealer.

Hi Emily,

I can see you're based in Manchester, who is your dealer?

Your dealer should have given you a build week, and in the UK the date of delivery is normally two weeks after that to allow them to get the car and do all their checks and valets etc.

For instance, my build week is 41 and expected delivery to me is week 43. These are subject to change but the dealer can see these week numbers on their system so it is worth asking

If it's 5055 now it'll prob be here week 39 which is the second to last week of sept

They're saying estimated delivery week commencing 14th, does that seem realistic?

ThaT will be week it will likely be at dealers ours was on the Friday of the week it was due at dealer so following week we picked it up as it had stuff to fit and pdi

well Emilly…
mine is at the dealers now awaiting pdi and registering .I went down on the off chance as it was due 25th sept to the dealers and there it is . yay!
