Seen a few comments saying stop/start doesn't function when in Sport mode however mine does - should it?

I've tried and for me start/stop does function in Sport mode.

Mine too. Normal.

Mine does too - I usually turn it off though as I don't like the way it restarts ( always sounds and feels a bit lumpy)

Mine too. However, if I engage Sport while stopped, then the engine starts and doesn't go back into stop mode until the next stop.

It does function on mine as well.

According to my manual, that's normal. It will not, however, do auto stop/start if you have a steptronic automatic and you come out of D or switch to the manual or sport transmission (M/S) position.
