I'll admit that I am a little challenged when it comes to visualising colours and seeing what works (and what doesn't work)

I've ordered my MCS with the john cooper works sports packs. It's coming in chilli red in November.

But - I've been thinking about the stripes and decals. I'm thinking about having the roof in silver and having viper stripes up the middle of the car - silver on the red parts and red on the silver parts. This will be similar to the photo of the roadster below.

But - do these colour combos work for a f56...?

It looks nice. I just ordered mine today in Blazing red, no stripes and roof is body color, not black or white. Just a matter of preference.

Red with the silver looks great. Black is good too! My wife has black with red stripes. Looks fab!

That's very helpful. I was never a fan of stripes until I saw them with the VO color. To my eye the orange is a bit much if it isn't broken up by the black stripes.

Thanks guys - my brain just can't visualise it that well!

Think I'll stick with the plan with the viper stripes. Worst case - I can always get some more vinyl wrapping done. I took a quick tour of the cars being prepped for new owners in the bmw park lane storage cage. The stuff the vinyl wrappers were doing we're amazing - not just stripes but even a whole bmw given a new texture.
