Stripes or no stripes !

without for me...just personal opinion but I prefer the cleaner look of no bonnet stripes

No stripes, looks better without.

I like stripes and facelift grill is fussy so it helps balance the look of the car

If you have silver wheels, go for the stripes. Black wheels, no stripes.

I think stripes look better on the dark colors, so for your combo I’d say stripes.

My Chili Red S came with white stripes off the lot and I always went back and forth on whether I liked them or not. I’m planning to keep no stripes on my red JCW when it gets here in a couple weeks.

If you go down the stripes route, then I'd say get some without the black edges. They don't look great in my opinion. Better to have the pure colour.

So are you going to tally up the yeas and nays, then buy your car based on what a bunch of anonymous Internet forum people think?

I hated the stripes on my first mini. Had them replaced with aftermarket stripes because the stock ones were so crappy and then the aftermarket ones looked bad too. You’re putting a vinyl sticker on your new car and the vinyl always looks bad.
