Well here is a little Story ..... After I got the F56 fixed I drove over to my Mini Indy Shop Euro Tech in Tempe AZ to set an appointment to have my lowering springs installed next week and ask some questions about the Glove Box on the R 56. I get there the sign is gone but the shop is open. I walk in and no more Mini,s in the Bay just Chevy and Dodge Trucks. The new Owner tells me Euro Tech moved to a new location I hope back into the Car drive over to the new location walk into the Service Shop and no Euro Tech any longer he is now working himself on cars again.

Euro Tech is now a part of LeSueur Car. I remember them from 25 Years ago when they have been a not so straight used Car Lot.

So since I was there I ask what they would charge to install my springs and they quoted me $ 250.00 more than what Euro Tech wanted. I told them no Thank you and walked out.

I understand things happen in Business day in and day out and sometimes you have to make hard decisions to keep you Shop going but honestly it suck because now a good shop is pretty much not the same any longer. So support you local Indy Shop as much as you can.

I contacted my Buddy Eric over at German Auto in Phoenix (if you need more Info on German Auto just Pm I be glad to give you all the details) and told him about Euro Tech and he told me they hired a Mini Mechanic and will work on any Mini. So that is good News.

So Folks if you looking for another good Mini Shop give German Auto a try. I have been doing business with Eric for the last 20 Years working on my Mercedes and he never let me down.

The also work on Porsche and BMW,s. So it was not a total loss so too speak but it sure is sad when a good Indy Shop has to close there doors.

I heard about that during Southwest MINI Fest, pretty unfortunate since I heard nothing but good things about Euro Tech.
We have two indy shops in Las Vegas that the MINI club works with, Kensington Motor Cars and Elliot's Auto Service. Kensington is strictly British car (MINI, Jaguar, and Rover) and Elliot's does imports and domestics.

Since they're 2 miles from my house we use Kensington for any R50 service and they'll be serving the F56 as soon as it's out of warranty.

DR I never made it to the SW Mini Fest so I did not find out till today. Sure sucks Bumble Bee,s that Jerry had to go this route. What really upset me was the 1st impression I received pretty much telling me " He now works for us" but you can request him working on your car. That blew it for me right there not so much that they wanted $ 250.00 more doing the same job. I wish Jerry well because he is an awesome guy and his work reflects on his FB Page how great this shop has been in the past. We all know how difficult it can be finding an honest shop that treats there customers top notch at a competitive rate. The 1st Impression with LeSueur Car Company was less than stellar imho and will not bring me back......sadly..... because Jerry is one great mechanic and very trustworthy.

Since you missed out on SW Mini Fest you'll have to come out to Las Vegas in late May for A MINI Vacation in Vegas - 12 (AMVIV). We've got some good stuff planned this year.
First impressions are huge, that's the main reason we use Kensington the owner Bill has treated us right from the first time we walked into his shop.
