So, here he is posing for a picture with my wife who "adopted" ("Buying" is too impersonal apparently :)) him on Saturday morning from Chandlers Hailsham.

Special mention goes to Adam, (Sales dude) great great service, organised "goodies" and custom stripes with zero hiccups. Far better experience than buying a new S8 with Audi's "specialist handlers" (reserved for tossy buyers like me buying RS/S and R models). Can't recommend him enough.

So.. does he look good or what?

(more pics tomorrow probably)

Thanks John,

Zaimuk, no, not freebies, but I wanted to surprise my wife with some funky MINI stuff, shades, bag, clip in phone adaptor etc. I did a little "light negotiation" with the original purchase and got "free" paint protection and wheel stuff, but getting on the list for the JCW doesn't give you much room to manoeuvre (unless you take finance out where there is more wriggle room, which i didn't.. have to have a cash sale as car is out of the UK for up to 180 days a year, most finance companies allow 28days MAX)

Allegedly there is sometimes a chance to get a wee "goodie pack" when MINI follow up your purchase in a few weeks. ("Second date?")
