This afternoon I had my Mini out ready for its MOT this weekend so I thought I'd take a few pictures of the new and old together and here they are for you to compare and contrast.

Neither are looking at the best as they could both do with a wash.

Superb looking pair of cars.

It is - well spotted. It's my father's 1970 MGB roadster. It's been off the road for the past few years and needs a bit of work doing on it such as new shocks and petrol tank fitting.

Love old Blue sweet looking Ride when you have the old and new next to each other sure shows how big Cars got over the Years. The new Mini looks like a Ford Transit Delivery Van in Size next to the original.

Show these pictures to anyone who knocks the F56 as not being a Mini. Yes it's bigger - it has actual crash protection. But it's clear that the design philosophy was carried across and the outline of what it is can't be clearer.
