We took a little [email protected] to San Diego last Weekend to spend 4 Days by the Beach. :) And as we all know if you have a Beach there is Sand every where not just in your Bum Crack. and lets not forget the Ocean Mist :(

So do you Guys/Girls do anything special to prep the Car before a Beach Trip any Hints/Tips to to cut down on the cleaning time?

So when we got back last Sunday I went straight to the Car Wash to remove the Mist off the Car and today I spend 3 Hours to clean the Interior to get all the Sand out. What a Task with all the Switches Vents etc etc but I got it finally done.:)

I think next time when we go to the Beach I prepare the Car better before we leave the House.

On the bright Side the Mini was a Blast to drive and climbed up them 6% Hills outside of Yuma like a Champ aka 90MPH and the Car still had some Power left. Pretty impressive with 1 Cylinder missing under the Hood. Them Sports Seats felt great to me after a 5 Hr drive and I felt no pain when I got out of the Car.

I guess all the Joy driving the Mini over a longer Distance made up for the Pain cleaning the Car after the trip.

The next Trip is already on the Map. Highway 1 from Santa Monica going North.:)

I've been known to use a leaf blower in my cars. We live a mile from the beach>:D
Leaf blower actually "does" work! I've done that many times...a bit heavy though. I bought a blower drier from Griot's Garage so I can dry my MINI after rains or just washing to get down in the cracks and crevices! The cost was only about $99...and it's not too heavy. I can't wait to use it on my JCW....:)
