Ok to start us off what makes your new F56 JCW special

Also for members that had R56 S /JCW what do you miss or feel is better in new car, let the discussion begin

For me the sound on over run, and start up
The engine torque great and pulls well in any gear all be it power delivery a bit to smooth
Interior quality and seats love them
VDC great balance of compliant ride and great handling in sport , all be it under tired and the Dunlop sport maxx lake the fantastic grip from my conti's on our BMW
The good attention and glances you get in the car and love the Chilli Red Roof

Had R56 S from new for 7 years and the F56 JCW is just completely in a different league IMHO , interior as good as our BMW and feels solid and quiet when you want and nice growl and turbo noise when you want.
For me BMW have done it again challenged the hard core fans to be open minded and try what they think was the best way for progression styling apart I feel they got it bang on like M4

I forgot to add the fantastic Brembo brakes they are not over aggressive but have huge stopping power

Another JCW fact. You can get (just) a 55" telly in a box in one.. The drive home was a bit uncomfortable. The salesman was a bit too good...

this reminds me on a trip to halfords in the R56 S for two large bottle tool boxes the guy looked and laughed you ain't taking them home in the mini , he had to eat humble pie and scratch his head a few times on my way out the car park lol

The 45mpg I achieved today, and I had some fun on the back roads too....

Oh dear has the Nooooo Green mode on JCW been broken , on 6MT 31.9 so far for first 1100 miles 80% short 1.5 mile cold runs but pleased with that if I'm honest

Green mode ? what's that ?

Mid & Sport are the ONLY modes my JCW are ever going to see. I'll never use "Green" and the Mrs wouldn't know how to to change it... >

After 2 years with an M135i, anything that starts with a 3 is good

Few crisis averted , yes I have had a 3 addiction e30 e46 e90 f31 but I hanker after a 2 next but adding a very important mmmmmm

LOl Jelster wrong end of the stick right enough , since I had my e30 325i sport in 80's always loved Three's but missed the e36 for some reason
I want another e30 badly

I Like the glow from the car when you open the car in pitch black night with the interior lights as well , oh and I case I forgot nice throttle response , and great turn in

The fact I tend to switch on the lights on the garage before I lock the door to have a look to make sure its all locked up for the night

Well what about some of our newest JCW owners what do you think makes it special to you?

My mum had a mint 318is on a H reg, I would give anything to find that car again! Hopefully it would still be in the same condition. I would buy it in a heartbeat!

Did it have the chequerd seats James? they are starting to fly up in price as the 325i sport mtec ones are to expensive. If it had thats seats i like but my for me i need 6 cylinders in my e30>

Love those interiors , yes the prices are on the up like most classic getting out of reach for a hobby

The sound it makes running through the gears. the 20gb hard drive. 2200 songs at my fingertips. much more comfortable and quite than our '08 Cooper S Hardtop

I need to load up the hard drive with some of my older music , thanks for reminding me, yes the sound once it heats up is very nice in deed
